Divine Corps of the Nokari Coasts

Background

The Divine Corps is the military organization and the army of the Nokari Coasts defending the Coasts in the name of Aena and Emos.

Organizations

There are multiple units (in ascending order of importance): Guard, Soldier, Officer, Templar, High Templar, Paladin, Cleric, Arch Paladin/Arch Cleric, Cardinal, The Pontifex.

The cleric rank and below only have a military function, starting from the Arch Paladin rank, these start to exert political power. Every diocese (NL: bisdom) is led by either an Arch Paladin or an Arch Cleric. Every city or village in the diocese is led by a representative chosen by the Arch Clergy.

There is also a navy version: The Divine Navy, boats of paladins and justiciars with smokes of incense.
